Achieving Contentment, Dublin Is Tallaght and Lazy Actors
Manage episode 476900334 series 3555302
We go missing a week and we give you over an hours worth of bleeding poetry!
We did go on a bit today, but crammed into the corners of our nonsense waffle are poems that will bring us all down to earth a little and focus on what is bloody important in our lives! Thank f*** for poetry!
Kate Ireland's spoken word masterclass on sitting with her Granny kicks off the show this week. Be warned: you will get shivers.
Leon had been at the helm of the Dublin Is Tallaght event this week at the Civic Theatre, so as a treat for anyone who wasn't able to make it, we have recording from two of the performers from the night: Jan Brierton and Sheila Ryder
Dublin City Libraries, in collaboration with The Stinging Fly, have published a book dedicated to the city of Dublin. We share an essay from the collection from FELISPEAKS called 'Dublin: A Poet's View'. Brilliant stuff.
We also have a giggle with Jonathan Roth, a helping hand from Tania Winther and our agony aunt is all about someone who wrote a play and can't get the actors to turn up on time for rehersal!
Enjoy lads
