In this episode of The Positivity Hour, I get real about something we all deal with but rarely talk about: not being okay. Life gets heavy, and sometimes the pressure, the setbacks, and the expectations start piling up until you feel like you’re drowning. That’s exactly where I was — and it’s the reason I made my new mixtape.
Today, I break down the full story: the adversity, the copyright issues, the frustration, the delays… all of it. But more importantly, I share why I created the project in the first place. I wasn’t okay. I needed an outlet. I needed something that reminded me what joy felt like. I needed something that made me excited to wake up again.
And the crazy part?
Starting small — creating something just for me — brought me back to life.
Now I love life again. I love the grind. I love the process. I want to keep going. And none of that would’ve happened if I quit the moment things got rough.
This episode is a reminder that it’s okay to struggle, it’s okay to fall apart, and it’s okay to not feel like yourself. But you have to keep going. You have to create something. Try something. Start small. Because the smallest step can be the thing that saves you.
