On this week’s episode of The Pure Uncut Recovery Podcast, we have an amazing conversation with Maggie Vaught… a self-proclaimed princess - and an all American girl on the surface, who takes us on a journey that begins in Flower Mound, Texas, growing up on a thousand acre ranch and experiencing the unthinkable as she describes the childhood trauma and neglect she endured, and yet, harbored for many years to come… as her story evolves from living what would appear to be a happy, normal life, Maggie goes on to describe being introduced to drugs at 32 years old, becoming highly addicted to pain killers and facing the devastation of her sister passing away from a drug overdose – while her life continues to slowly shatter, she is eventually taken down the darkest roads which ultimately lead her to incarceration, and finally, after circling the drain, for what seemed to be her final spin.. she eventually walks through the doors of recovery, which, with hard work and determination, have now led her to discover a brand new life – a life she would’ve never dreamed of… not a princess fairytale – but -her new reality… here’s Maggie Vaught..
