Dr. Liz Alfson is a board-certified psychiatrist and experiential therapist based in Austin, Texas. She attended college at Princeton University, medical school at the University of Virginia, and residency training at Harvard Longwood, where she was a chief resident. Dr. Alfson sees patients in her private practice, and teaches psychiatry residents at various local university programs. She has great interest in the meeting place of mind and brain, body and consciousness, logic and intuition, science and spirit. She enjoys exploring these questions across disciplines: poetry, quantum mechanics, philosophy, neuroscience, and spirituality.
