Over the last ten years, Producer BD Gunnell has emerged as a leader in the world of independent feature filmmaking. From humble beginnings on micro-budget indie films, to her professional experience as a Line Producer; BD has developed a well-earned reputation. From completing films with rigorous timelines and severe constraints on budget; BD has developed an exceptional track record in the film industry of delivering films on time and on budget. At this current time, 85% of the movies completed have recouped their costs for investors. BD routinely produces independent films in the $2 million to $10 million-dollar range.
BD produced nine features in under a year for the likes of Lifetime, Hazy Mills, and other independent companies. Her features include Mob Town starring David Arquette, Jamie-Lynn Sigler; Lazy Susan starring Sean Hayes, Allison Janney; Tribeca Film Festival pick Almost Paris directed by Domenica Cameron-Scorsese; iMordecai starring Sean Astin, Judd Hirsch; Shriver starring Michael Shannon, Kate Hudson. BD has worked with other such notable talents as Richard Dreyfus, Zach Braff, Don Johnson, Ashley Green, Robert Davi, and Matthew Broderick, among others.
