Dr. Robert Melton is a Healthcare Executive with over 30 years’ experience and has been in the C-Suite for over 20 years at four (4) different Hospital organizations. Robert is a proud graduate of the NC A&T State University the nation’s largest HBCU with a Bachelor’s in Architectural Engineering. “Aggie Pride”

Robert completed graduate level studies at Johns Hopkins University in Healthcare Administration and completed his Doctoral Studies at Charter University in Management. Additionally, Dr. Melton currently serves as a Consultant with The Joint Commission, the nation’s largest healthcare accreditation organization where he validates that healthcare organization are meeting standards and compliance for Patient Care and Safety, Leadership, Life Safety and Emergency Management.

Dr. Melton is a licensed Professional Engineer, a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager, Robust Process Improvement (RPI) Certified Yellow Belt and Graduate of Center for Creative Leadership, and believes that healthcare services should be accessible to everyone.

Dr. Melton is an energetic and passionate speaker and strides to address healthcare disparities and empower people to advocate to improve healthcare accessibility and outcomes.
