It was wild year that saw Jerry Lawler begin the year as HEEL, King Cobra hold the Unified World Championship, Jimmy Valiant returned home to Memphis and also won the Unified World Championship, plus the controversial Snowman "worked shoot angle", Leon Spinks' short lived run in Memphis, Cowabunga the Ninja Turtle, the miracle that was "Granny Gilbert's Magic Hair Elixir, Sam "Bass" Lowe, the return of Austin Idol, Mike Awesome in Memphis, the infamous "Hit & Run" angle where the Gilberts ran over Jerry Lawler with a car, and much, much more!!
