Retro Re-View Episode #08: With Guest Wolfie D (The Origins of PG-13!)
Manage episode 428380010 series 3571573
Retro Wrestling Re-View is back with a very special Episode #8, digging deep into the origins of one of the most successful tag teams in wrestling history, PG-13! Wolfie D was kind enough to join host Gene Jackson this week and go back to the very beginning of the formation of his tag team with J.C. Ice (Jamie Dundee). Wolfie gives all the details on just how PG-13 came to exist in 1993, including how they got their foot in the door in Memphis. Some really fun stories here detailing the making of the Rap Video that was used to introduce them on Memphis USWA Television, going to Jerry Jarrett's mansion to pitch the gimmick, EXACTLY where he was and what he was doing when he came up with the name PG-13, some of his favorite feuds, what accomplishments meant the most, and so much more! A really fun and informative interview with "Sir" Wolfie D that we hope you will enjoy!
