The natural environment is just as vital as the built environment, so this week on The RICS Podcast we’re joined by three fantastic members of RICS’ Land & Natural Resources Professional Group Panel (PGP).
David Sandbrook FRICS - chair of the Land and natural resources PGP and director of Sandbrook Land & Minerals Limited - is joined by Grace Prowse MRICS (HS2) and Duncan Moss FRICS (Ordnance Survey), to discuss challenges and opportunities specific to the ‘unbuilt environment’, increasing consideration for environmental concerns across the board, and the need for a diverse industry.
This episode of The RICS Podcast covers:

  • The growing role of geospatial data in land surveying
  • How surveying in the natural environment differs from the built environment
  • The need for diversity and inclusion in surveying
  • Traits of an ideal surveyor and routes into the profession
