The story beautifully affirms the truth that God’s mercy reaches even the most wounded souls.
This series contains moments of danger and intensity, including raised voices. A death in childbirth is described. Drogo is mocked publicly because of his disfigurement. Drogo’s life is threatened by a church fire. Drogo refers to his mother’s death when giving birth to him as an “unforgivable sin” and undergoes intense suffering as part of his penance.
