The FED recently came out with a pretty damning paper on Bitcoin as it relates to the U.S. government's budget deficits and bitcoin. Essentially they were saying if Bitcoin does its thing, the U.S. government won't be able to run budget deficits anymore.
Essentially, the government is proposing a ban or a high tax, because they want to keep the power of the money printer and don't want to run balanced budgets, or budget surpluses!
In this podcast, I go over the following important topics, namely:

• FED and ECB came out with whitepapers recently going against Bitcoin heavily
• Feds paper was about how bitcoin will make it so that the U.S. can’t have deficits anymore
• Historically bonds were a great avenue to invest to get near risk-free yield and it allowed the government to borrow in perpetuity
• A new game came around called Bitcoin, and now the government can’t borrow nonstop anymore
• As Bitcoin continues to outperform, people will stop buying the government IOUs(Bonds)
• People will allocate to Bitcoin instead of bonds, making it so the government can’t fester
  • They essentially came up with two outcomes that they need to either Ban Bitcoin
  • Tax Bitcoin and make it less attractive by taking some of the winnings whenever someone plays
• Banning Bitcoin will hurt the USA and make it impossible to get ahead fiscally
  • Famous saying you can’t ban others from Bitcoin, you can only ban yourself from Bitcoin
  • Look at China as a perfect example
• The government wants to keep the money game going by its rules, and with Bitcoin they can’t control it
• They are sewing the seeds now in case they come out against Bitcoin & self custody
