I've lived in many places in my life. I've lived in different countries and many different cities.

I know from experience that renting from someone that you haven't done due diligence on to find out how reliable they are.

When I moved to Sweden, I lived in a small town and the apartment that I rented there was nice, but just too small. So after a few months, I moved to another place call Märsta. The town itself was fine. What wasn't fine was that the apartment complex was 'owned' by a company called NordicPM. However it was discovered that NordicPM was run by the Bulgarian mafia.

The mafia even has its long fingers reaching into the Swedish Government.

The problems that were present in the Märsta apartment were so great, that I can't even tell you all of them. The main problems included:

1) No hot water for 30 days

2) No electricity for at least 10 days

3) No functional radiator in the apartment, even in Winter

4) Little to no support from the management of NordicPM

5) Garbage was strewn all over outside the front door of the apartment building

So my main point is that you need to be very careful when renting or buying any property, until you've done your due diligence!
Thanks for listening!
