Enjoy and thank you for your patience and understanding!} I've noticed over the last couple of years that more business owners than ever feel burnt out, overwhelmed, and just want a soft life. And you know what? That's a perfectly normal response to recovering from a world crisis, going through a cost of living crisis, and dealing with everything else that has been thrown at us over the last few years. I've had my own bouts of overwhelm here and there when balancing building my own tiny home (with zero DIY skills I might add!), running a business, and being in a long-distance relationship. It's normal to not feel like you have the energy to market yourself or your business. To not even feel motivated to work at all. But earning a living is self-care. It's a way we care for ourselves, our families, and our wellbeing. There are times when, yes, you do need to rest. Perhaps even for weeks or months. (Especially if you are suffering with illness or you are burnt out.) But there are also times when you need some self-discipline. When you need to get in touch with the "girlboss" inside you and use her to help you work - even if you're only doing a few hours of work and not a full day. Today, let's talk about this more. (It might be a bit of a controversial episode but I think you'll find it helpful!) Let's discuss:
