There's been a reversal of fortunes, as 2020 saw the Minor Premiers Panthers go down to the 2nd placed Storm 26-20. This year, The Storm managed to get the Minor Premiership with the Panthers coming in second.
Both teams have been dominant all year and many considered it a foregone conclusion when the finals started that it would be a Storm/Panthers Grand Final.
