In Kerr County alone, officials are reporting 56 adults and 28 children are dead, with ten children and one adult still missing from a girls' camp. President Trump has signed a major disaster declaration for Kerr County and will likely visit the state on Friday.
Two --- . The White House is calling on Democrats to tone down their rhetoric against ICE and border patrol agents. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt challenged Democrats to meet with border agents. Leavitt called the agents honorable men and women who are simply enforcing U.S. law. The comments came the same day a man opened fire at a Border Patrol facility in South Texas.
And number three --- Emergency room visits for tick bites are nearing record levels this summer across U.S. The CDC says July has already seen the highest number of tick-related ER visits in eight years. People under ten and over 70-years-old have the highest rates of ER visits.
