Bedazzled Review: 02:30

Buffering (Selling our souls): 25:20

Last Looks: 46:27

Welcome back to The Stream, episode 33, the Patrick Ewing episode, and the 7th physically distanced episode.

In our main review, we are talking about Bedazzled, available on HBO MAX

Bedazzled is a 2000 comedy film directed by Harold Ramis and starring Brendan Fraser and Elizabeth Hurley. It is a remake of the 1967 film of the same name, written by Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, which was itself a comic retelling of the Faust legend.

Then in our buffering segment, we are creating our “If we sold our souls to the Devil” scenarios. We are breaking it down to 6 criteria:

  • Who is our Devil?
  • Who we are becoming?
  • What/Where is our house?
  • Who is our wife?
  • What is our car?
  • And what is the compromise for selling our soul?

Finally In our Last Looks segment, we are recommending:

Nadir: The Sisters Brothers, available on HULU

Gian: Fear of a Black Hat, available on Amazon Prime

Next episode we are reviewing, The Ladies Man, available on Amazon Prime

The close out song is:

Johnnie Taylor. "Just the One." Just the One, Stax, 1966
