Hey folks – I know I speak with considerable privilege when I say that I had a good relationship with my dad. It’s not something I take for granted. When we gather this week (at 10:45 a.m.,, VA Cafe) we will explore some of the implications of a couple of lessons I learned from my dad. Not “how to be a dad” lessons – just “how to live” lessons that can be applied in many different settings. There will also be Kids Table, and good folks to journey with. Personally, I think that might be the best part.

Also, for those who may find the late arrival of this blurb disconcerting, my entire explanation is that it was one of those weeks where I had a hard time deciding which path to take in a Talky Bit. I’ll unpack that a bit more when we’re together.
