Sony recently released a PlayStation 5 update celebrating the 30th anniversary of the original PlayStation. This update allows users to customize their PS5's interface with visual and audio themes from past PlayStation consoles (PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4). The update includes a retro PS1-style launcher animation and selectable sound effects from each generation. While initially described as "limited," fans are hoping this nostalgic feature becomes a permanent addition to the PS5 experience. The update is available to all PS5 users, regardless of whether they purchased the limited-edition anniversary console.
