Most people hear the words gangs or mafia, their minds typically go to that of Al Capone and the Chicago Outfit (aka Outfit, Chicago Mafia, or the South Side Gang.) But not everyone knows of the one that comes from right here in Michigan and was pretty infamous during the Prohibition Era. The Purple Gang!
