Hosts Armando & Joey join Mike Aguirre of See It 16mm to explore the two-part Mexican horror anthology 100 Cries of Terror (1965).

Our discussion explores legendary writer-director Ramon Obon, the film’s 2 stories of betrayal & terror, and its English dubbed version which has been brought to new light with several repertory screenings from Trash-Mex & See It On 16mm.

First story: “A Debt of Panic” (Panico)

Starring: Joaquin Cordero & Ariadna Welter

- A couple move into a luxurious old home that may be haunted & much more horror arises when a secret is revealed.

Second story: The Crypt of Terror” (Miedo Supremo)

Starring: Jorge Martinez De Hoyos & Alicia Caro

- A gloomy man gets trapped in a mausoleum and saves a woman who was mistakenly believed to be dead. Freeing her from her coffin, she begins to show disturbing behavior leading to an all-nighter of pure terror.
