Before we even knew what a relationship was, we were already learning about love. From our parents, our home, and the people around us. In this episode, Naomi shares how those early lessons still shape the way we love today and act as adults.

She shares her story of growing up in a cult, where love had to be earned by staying quiet and following rules. That taught her that being calm didn’t always feel safe. Now she helps others see that the ways we learned to survive as kids don’t have to control our lives anymore.

TRY THIS REFLECTIONAsk yourself:

  • Am I loving from fear or from trust?
  • What pain am I still trying to protect others from?
  • What would it feel like to love from peace instead of panic?

QUOTE OF THE EPISODE“What protected you then is probably what’s disconnecting you now.”
