Joe examines the link-ups between the "Furious" 4th Infantry Division and the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions on D-Day. Assault landing echelons, resistance nests, strong points, causeways, and the push inland to locate the paratroopers. The 4th advanced off the beach fairly rapidly and made contact...but where are those small unit accounts of those link-ups? Hopefully this episode will help shed some light on them...
