🛠️ Gear Guide – Ski Trends for 2024/25

🏔️ Destination Focus: Aspen

Aspen Mountain (Ajax):

For confident intermediates and up.

No beginner terrain, but steep, fast, and classic runs.

Right in Aspen town—high-end shops, legendary après (e.g., Ajax Tavern), and luxe hotels.

Snowmass:

Huge, varied terrain—great for all abilities.

Family-friendly, ski-in/ski-out base with everything from condos to the Viceroy.

Features terrain parks, glades, and wide cruisers.

Aspen Highlands:

Locals’ favorite, hardcore vibe.

Famous for Highland Bowl—hike-to expert terrain.

Smaller base but known for après at Cloud Nine.

Budget Aspen? Yes, really!

Dom proves Aspen can be done affordably with smart travel, lodging, and pass planning.

Pro tip: package deals, Ikon Pass, and self-catering go a long way.

Craft beer is solid and surprisingly well-priced!
