Hoffman started his professional media career in the late 80s as a reporter while still a student at the University of Akron. Starting in the early 2000’s, as the TV Advisor and General Manager, he led U of A’s WZIP and Media Program to win 25 Emmy awards. After PBS management stints in Missouri, and Central Florida, the good Doctor landed his dream job as Assistant Dean of Media/General Manager of Ball State Public Media.
