Adam Schwartz is a Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Manhattan Co. He joined the firm in 2001 to work with Bob Gottesman, First Manhattan’s CEO. Together, Adam and Bob manage assets for individuals, families, partnerships, and family and charitable trusts. Adam also serves as Co-Portfolio Manager of FM First China Fund, a limited partnership he co-founded in 2009. He holds a BA from Brown University in Economics and International Relations and a MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
