We begin this season (Season 4) of #TheAwayGames_Podcast with a story from a young man who made a horrible series of mistakes as a youth, in search of an identity. After serving 8+ years in several state prisons, he now seeks to lead a life that he can describe as "fulfilled".

During the conversation, we learn the conditions of our state prisons, the collection of characters that reside within them and systems of negligence created to perpetuate the prison's existence. After hearing this story, several questions arise: Why wouldn't mental health be a priority for inmates? Why would states restrict services that would aid in rehabilitation?

Can we do more?
