- Was barrel-aged an extra week for no particular reason, but, since we track back our futility in this and all episodes to 1970, our analysis remains as perenially trenchant as it is petulant.

- Tristan heads to the fabric marker aisle and tries to remember what a duck looks like.

- Marvel at tales of past woes in Where Were You When? and glory days gone by in Why Are We Doing This? as the Canucks continue their supersemicentennial Quest for Cromulence.

- We learn how Abby Hoffman skated subterfugally and Justine Bailey sued supremely so that the Goldeneyes could one day...clang? Soar? Dive? We're learning, is the point.

- Honourable mention to Ardella for "whiplash / from hopes dashed", which was only not picked as the episode name for copyright concerns after it becomes the title of her slam poetry album. It got some beatnik finger snaps from The Editor, at least.
