Have you ever stopped to think about all the cool things that come out of Texas? Yeah... me neither. That being said, however, this month finds one of our favorite episodes as Neighbor Jerry and I took to the open highway and ended up in the Lone Star State with just enough beer and whiskey to manage a decent bribe. We took advantage of my cowboy friend, Tater Chip, and put together a highly interesting episode that focused on songs about Texas. We each went through a bevy of our favorite tunes about the state, and eventually we created our personal Mt. Rushmore list of great songs about Texas. There is no way to make a truly comprehensive list of songs about this state, but we think you'll get a kick out of it. Sit back and pop a top on a cold one, because this is a bit of a ride.
