It's THE topic. Covid-19. The topic everyone is talking about and the topic we are all just so tired of listening to. So why did I interview Mari, the first responder? Because we need to relate, understand, and feel what she is going through to understand that this pandemic is far from over. Even though we all really just want life to go back to normal...
Follow my conversation as she brings an Inside look into a Covid ward. It may be out of site out of mind for most of us at the moment but this conversation and interview is with someone who lives it everyday. On the front lines.
So who is Mari?
Mari is an ICU nurse here in Phoenix, Arizona. She has been a nurse for over 25 years, with over 10 years of Nursing Education under her belt. At the moment she is not only working in a Covid Ward but also working towards her Phd in Nursing and Health Care Innovation. She is why some people come home after being admitted to the ICU.
This is her first responder Story.
