Hi-De-Hi Ramblers! Yes, our guest President this week, leading the members of Tony Slattery’s Rambling Club on their weekly wander, is none other that the legend that is Su Pollard!

Join us as guest President Marsan leads us on a ramble through two special destinations chosen entirely at random with the use of Tony’s enchanted bingo machine. As ever, the omniscient voice of Sir Stephen Fry is on hand to keep a finger on the button of bullshit!

First stop is destination number 129: The Origin & Destiny of Individual Souls. An opportunity to philosophise about the human condition arises for our intrepid explorers.

Then we’re off to 012- Biographies of Individuals (except it isn’t. Mr.Carmichael needs to remember to put his reading glasses on. Too late now!) Tales of Hi-De-Hi, Perry and Croft and Don Estelle await you in this ramble that takes us behind the scenes of some of the most loved sitcoms ever made in Britain.

After all that it’s time to head back down the garden path to Tony’s shed, where the kettle is bubbling away, ready to provide a relaxing brew after quite the ramble.

If nothing else it’ll keep you out of the beady eyeline of Miss Cathcart!

Tony Slattery’s Rambling Club is a free-associating conversation, involving very special guests. It drops every Friday on every podcasting outlet known to man. We’d love it if you came along for the walk. If nothing else, it’ll help you get your steps in!
