Dr. Scott Gibson has served as the superintendent of Toledo Christian since 2012. With over 20 years of corporate executive experience at Huntington National Bank and BASF Corporation, Scott decided to pursue his passion for Christian education. He initially became the athletic director at Toledo Christian in 2011 before accepting the role of superintendent in the fall of 2012.
A longtime coach and supporter, Scott has been involved with Toledo Christian for more than 30 years. Serving the school in various roles has strengthened his commitment to Christian education and its transformative effect on young people. He actively collaborates with the school board, staff, parents, and community members to educate, disciple, and prepare students to follow Christ and influence culture.
Scott is a graduate of the University of Toledo, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business, an M.B.A. in strategic leadership, and a doctoral degree in educational leadership from Liberty University.
Scott and his wife, Kim, are dedicated members of Calvary Assembly of God and have been married for 36 years. They have three children who are alumni of Toledo Christian: Ben ('08), Lauren ('09), and Cody ('11); and three grandchildren.
