Joshua had much faith in God. When he, Joshua, received instructions for the battle of Jericho he passed them on to the people without making any changes even though they seemed strange at first. March around a city to defeat it? That's not how army's normally fight! But Joshua knew that this wasn't his fight to win, it belonged to God.
