Episode Description: We are taking a short break from our “Still Resisting” series to bring y’all a special episode. Ekemini and Christina sit down with Jennifer Lucy Tyler to talk about her journey with IVF, the heartbreak of infertility, and all the physical and emotional pain that accompanies it. This is a very honest and raw conversation that holds space for Black women who often carry the weight of reproductive struggles in silence.

This episode peels back the layers of what it means to hope, grieve, fight for joy, and reclaim your voice in a world that too often overlooks Black women’s pain in the fertility journey. Sistas, if you’ve ever felt invisible in your journey to motherhood or questioned your strength while walking a path you didn’t choose, this episode is for you. Pull up a chair and have a seat at the table with us!
