Jamie Ward joins us for the final episode of the series discussing making one of the most hated transfers in English football (leaving Derby for Forest) to the insane security at Euro 2016 with Northern Ireland, where they shut down a McDonald’s just so the lads could grab a burger. Starting his career at Aston Villa in the David O’Leary years, Ward struggled to break through so left to go Torquay United where Helen Chamberlin was taking care of the youth players in the midsts of ownership chaos. Reflecting on Ward’s time at Sheffield United he recalls just how starstruck he was when meeting Gary Speed and how he handled the transition into managing. With stories about getting sold all from failing a bleep test which lead to some of the greatest team bonding trips to Miami under Nigel Clough.
