Our guest, filmmaker Nick D'Agostino, was so obsessed with the 1973 animated version of Robin Hood that as a child, family vacations had to happen at places with VCRs where he'd subject his extended family to multiple viewings of Robin Hood and The Lion King. Nick had not seen it though since he was about 10 years old. Would it pass the test of time for not only Nick, but hosts Josh Duggan and Sean McGrath, who also grew up with a fondness for this film, or would it crash and burn? Why didn't Nick remember much of the plot of the film? Were the emotions the audience was supposed to feel earned by what was shown on screen? Would they all come out on the other side still liking the movie that is a key point of origin for the furry movement? There's one way to find out the answer to these questions...
Robin Hood is currently available on Disney+.
