This week on Unpacking Sunday, Luke and Mike find themselves (once again) talking about butter tarts — but this time, Mike uses the sweetest transition ever, connecting Acts 2:22–35 to “food for your spirit and sweetness for your soul.”
From there, they dive deep into the heart of the gospel, reflecting on how Jesus’ work on the cross was always part of God’s plan from the very beginning. Along the way, they marvel at the wonderfully human story of Peter — the disciple who once vowed to die for Jesus, denied Him just days later, and then preached one of the most powerful sermons in history.
It’s a conversation about grace, redemption, and how God can use any of us — flaws and all — for His purposes. There’s laughter, a few tears, and a renewed awe for the power of the cross and “This Jesus.”
