Temperatures have drastically dropped in some parts of the country. This follows the South African Weather Service's (SAWS) forecast which has revealed scattered showers in areas including Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and parts of KwaZulu-Natal. The Western Cape Mobility Department has also urged all road users to exercise extreme caution. It has predicted heavy rainfall which may result in flooding as well as strong winds in several areas.
