In a significant setback for the Trump administrations efforts to end long-standing school desegregation orders, a federal judge in Louisiana refused to close a desegregation case in Concordia Parish dating back to the sixties. The school system and the state have appealed, as the case is seen as a major test of the governments push to wrap up older legal battles.
