Phosphorus control is crucial in managing canine and feline chronic kidney disease (CKD), particularly in cats. Because the disease is progressive and incurable, monitoring a cat with CKD is vitally important. With early detection and management, you can significantly extend your patient's lifespan and maintain a good quality of life.
