With a love for locally sourced produce and years of cooking in Sydney’s restaurants, self proclaimed "crumpet dealer" Merna, combined her love for good ingredients and passion for cooking to create "Crumpets by Merna."

Inspired by her breakfast of choice as a child, Merna's crumpets are fermented in small batches, with a focus on using the best local produce. Merna has direct relationships with the producers of her ingredient providers using Pepe Saya Buttermilk, Australian wholemeal flour, Australian blueberries and Olsson’s sea salt.

From starting with a dessert business to renting out a restaurant before it opened for service, to her regular attendance at the Carriageworks Farmers Markets in Sydney, Merna's crumpets are stocked and delivered across Australia and supplied to restaurants, cafes, and hotels. If you've been lucky enough to fly business class on certain airlines you might have even had one of Merna's crumpets at 32'000 feet. Crumpets by Merna. Changing the world, one crumpet at a time.
