James Pearce and Simon Hughes join Tony Evans during the international break for a deep dive into the life, legacy and lasting impact of one of Liverpool’s greatest ever figures — Sir Kenny Dalglish.

With special guest Asif Kapadia, the award-winning director behind Amy, Senna and Maradona, the guys go inside the making of his new Kenny Dalglish documentary. They explore why now was the right moment to tell the story, how the film came together, and what it was like working so closely with the man himself.

From Dalglish’s arrival as Keegan’s successor in 1977, to his instant success as player-manager, to the emotional burden he carried after Hillsborough, Tony, James, Simon and Asif reflect on the genius, humanity and influence of the man often described as “The Father of the City”.
