Let’s walk with the Savior together on the road to Emmaus and, like the disciples of old, have our eyes opened as we come to know Him by living a life of virtue and charity, drawing nearer to Him by making and keeping sacred covenants in the Holy Temple, and preparing with oil in our lamps to receive Him.
As President Nelson declared, “He is preparing to come again. May we likewise prepare to receive Him!”
During the next 6 months, like the 5 wise virgins who had their lamps trimmed with oil, let’s prepare together for the bridegroom by studying the doctrines and principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ, accepting the invitations from God’s chosen servants (friends) and the Spirit, receive His promised blessings, and shine our light bright and lead as women of covenant!
Please join us in this discussion for Elaine Dalton’s inspiring and thoughtful discussion on returning to virtue, reaching for higher, holier and happier life, identity as children of God, receiving gifts, a focus on charity and divine discontent as we yoke ourselves to Him, and walking with Him and having eyes to see.
