Lovette Mba grew up in a small Nigerian Community in Wichita, Kansas, and dreamed of going to an HBCU. Because of Langston University's McCabe Honors Program, she received a full-ride to school and has done nothing but succeed since. Recently, she was a recipient of the White House HBCU Scholarship. Listen to learn more about her experience growing up in a cultural community, coming to LU and becoming an HBCU White House Scholar.
