It’s December, and you know what that means … Christmas time is here ... and it's coming, whether we want it to or not!
Christmas is the time of happiness and cheer, snowflakes and sleigh bells, gatherings and gifts. It’s a time when people can feel serenity, kindness and generosity, more
than any other time of year. But whether it’s from that family gathering you’re dreading, or the loss of that loved one, or the silence of the room when no one else is there, Christmas is also a time when we can feel stress or conflict, sadness or loneliness. We may wonder why we should have Christmas at all.
So, let’s go back to when it all started.
At a significant point in history, God entered our world in an unprecedented way. And all at once, there was love for loneliness, hope for despair, peace for conflict, and joy for sorrow. Maybe you could use some of those gifts this Christmas.
