Hey weatherheads! Dustin Breeze here, ready to tackle today's forecast like I used to tackle quarterbacks! Memorial Day's looking like a real MVP of days in Portland - we're talking partly sunny skies with temperatures hitting a sweet 69 degrees. Southwest winds will be cruising around 6 miles per hour, perfect for backyard barbecues and outdoor hangouts!
Tonight, we're looking at partly cloudy conditions with temperatures dropping to a crisp 49 degrees. Those west winds will be doing a little wind dance, starting around 5 miles per hour and then going totally calm in the evening. Talk about a weather play that's smoother than my old football routes!
Let's break down the Weather Playbook today - ever wonder how clouds form? It's like a massive team huddle in the sky! When warm air rises and meets cooler temperatures, water vapor condenses into those fluffy formations. Think of it like players coming together to create something spectacular - except in this case, it's clouds instead of touchdowns!
Our three-day forecast is looking like a championship lineup:
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, high near 82 degrees. Calm winds becoming north 5 to 7 miles per hour in the afternoon.
Wednesday: Sunny with a high near 88 degrees. Calm winds turning southwest 5 to 7 miles per hour.
Thursday: Slight chance of morning showers, then mostly sunny with a high near 75 degrees.
Wanna hear a weather joke? What do you call a cold front that never shows up? A no-show! That's not rain, folks - that's the sky doing a victory dance!
It's gonna be WIIIIILD out there, folks!
