Hey weather warriors! Dustin Breeze here, your meteorological MVP ready to tackle today's forecast like a fourth-quarter touchdown drive!
First off, let me tell you, Portland is looking like it's gonna play some serious weather ball today. We're kicking things off with a partly sunny Juneteenth, temperature climbing to a crisp 74 degrees Fahrenheit with a north northwest wind at 3 to 7 miles per hour. It's like the sky is doing a victory dance!
Tonight, we're gonna see those clouds rolling in like a defensive line, dropping temperatures to a cool 50 degrees. The northwest wind will be smooth, about 5 to 8 miles per hour, then going totally calm after midnight. Talk about a weather blitz!
Now, let's talk about our Weather Playbook segment. Today, we're diving into the world of cloud formations. Think of clouds like players on a weather team - some are big and powerful like linebackers, others are light and quick like wide receivers. Cumulus clouds? Those are your fluffy, puffy guys that look like they're ready to make a big play.
