IN THIS EPISODE, Robyn discusses the common belief of "I’ll be happy when..." and how it relates to her own journey.

  • I'll be happy when I lose weight
  • I'll be happy when I lose 20 pounds
  • I'll be happy when I get under 200 lbs
  • I'll be happy when I get to retire

She explores the concept of tying happiness to future goals, like “I’ll be happy when...” and how the "I'll be happy when.." mindset has shaped my journey, my experiences, and the trap of waiting for happiness.

Always remember to keep it simple. Keep at it. Keep going.

Each new day is an opportunity to make choices that reinforce our trust in ourselves. Remember, always start again at your next meal - not Monday, not next week, next month or even next year. Start again at your next meal!
Most weight loss programs fail women over 50 because they focus on short-term fixes like restrictive diets and/or intense workouts, which don’t take into account the changes your body goes through with age. We cannot do the things we used to do in our 20’s, 30’s and 40’s! These programs don't talk about factors like slower metabolism, hormonal shifts, and the emotional dependency on food. Without addressing these underlying issues, it’s no wonder many programs lead to frustration, quick weight regain, and even more exhaustion. You need a plan that works with your body, not against it.
