Midge Costin is a legend in Hollywood Sound Design. Before teaching cinematic sound to thousands of up-and-coming film students at the prestigious School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California, Midge designed major soundscapes for A-list films, some you have surely seen. Recently she directed a documentary called, "Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound" where she showed many for the first time, the amazing symbiosis of sound and cinema.
