Sigmund Freud is certainly old school, but he wasn't wrong. Our chilhoods, especially the way we were treated by and interacted with our peers and parents, effect us to this day. So then why is it so rare to find an LCSW (what almost every "therapist" short of a licensed psychologist is) that actually addresses these issues? These are my opinions on the subject.
