Why are some bourbons so expensive? Sometimes it's a quality thing, sometimes it's a marketing thing, sometimes it's both. In order to break down some of the factors that affect the cost of a whiskey, I sit down and do a blind tasting and talk about the most important aspects of a whiskey (in terms of cost drivers). Of course, I do also break down OTHER cost drivers, like packaging, marketing, the Bourbon-Bubble, etc.

The 12 whiskeys that could have been selected for this episode were: Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, Wild Turkey 101, Wyoming Whiskey, Rabbit-Hole Cavehill, Bowman Brothers Small Batch, Buffalo Trace, Middle West Spirits Bourbon, Four Roses Small Batch Select, Larceny Barrel Proof, Cooper's Craft Barrel Reserve, Eagle Rare, and Weller Antique 107. If you don't want to know what I am tasting, stop reading now!

This episode features a full, in depth, blind review of Rabbit-Hole Cavehill.
